Rockman is Yuval Josefson. a rock creator and radio professional working at the intersection of music, technology, and culture. His creative work is driven by authenticity and exploration, producing rock and metal through advanced technologies while maintaining a strong emotional core.
He is the founder, manager, and on-air voice behind Ze Rock Radio, Israel’s first independent rock radio station, operating as a music media and content platform built on curation, community, and creative freedom since 2017.
Alongside his creative and radio work, Rockman is also available by request as a rock DJ for selected events and parties.
Rockman’s work represents a fusion of rock passion, radio experience, and creative independence.

Northern Son
Northern Son is a deeply personal artistic project rooted in introspection, distance, and restraint. Its musical identity exists on a spectrum that moves from dark country through Seattle sound, into Nordic rock and metal, allowing emotion and atmosphere to shape each piece rather than fixed genre boundaries.
The project favors truth over polish, tension over immediacy, and presence over performance. Each song inhabits its own emotional climate, shifting naturally between warmth and cold, grit and space, silence and weight.
Northern Son is not defined by a single style, but by a continuous movement across moods, textures, and intensity, unified by lyrical honesty and a northern state of mind.
